Yesterday, was a great day. I took a trip out to a rather lovely small town an hour away. My mom had a meeting with a nursing home director out there about getting some of her Psych students out their to spend the day with a resident. I set off with only my map of the grounds to guide me as I adventured around the grounds. It was a lovely day and I spent most of my time lounging around the lake and bought myself a plate of cold pumpkin pancakes from the cafeteria. (They where suprisingly good)

We finally got back in town about 3 o’ clock. It started to storm and thunder as soon as we got back into town. The weather has been extremely weird the past couple of days. We even had hail yesterday accompanied by thunder and lightning. Maybe I should move somewhere else, preferabbly somewhere with sunny weather. Luckily, one of my favorite movies, Happily Never After, was on. So I atleast had something to do during the storm.

I met my best friend DD at the gym too. We spent some of the time in the recreation room playing cards and messing with each others cell phones. He taught me how to play this card game called Speed and soon we had the whole room of kids asking for a turn. Eventually, I coaxed him into coming upstairs where all the real workout stuff was. We both went into the weight room and took turns doing that “spotting” thing. I could bench press about 60 pounds, which was I thought was pretty impressive until DD benched 130 pounds. Ugh, maybe weight lifting isn’t my thing.

How unfortunate…but don’t worry, he’s semi-normal now.

Dreams… February 10, 2008

So anyway when I have a dream I like to analze it with a dream dictionary.

My dream…Well I snuck out of the house with my friend A.D. I had to be really quiet because my mom and dad where sleeping in the next room. Me and A drove to the mall and had a fun time. (Yep, this was a really short dream)

To dream of being at a shopping mall means that those things that you need (affection, friendship, spiritual support, quality time with people you care about) are available to you. However, you may need to learn exactly where to look, how to select what you need, and how to ask for these things when you need them. This dream calls upon you to know yourself. Before you can ask for or get what you need, you need to figure out what it is that you want. If you dream that you are lost in a shopping mall, you don’t know where to turn for support with a certain problem. To dream that you are shopping for food and groceries symbolizes your hidden attempt to buy the attention of others.

To see your friends in your dream, signifies aspects of your personality that have been developing and making you grow as a person. The relationships you have with those around you are important in learning about yourself, so look to the friends you dreamed about for signals of personality traits they have that you desire in yourself, and work on those things. Additionally, dreaming of friends sometimes foretells that you will hear happy news from them.

Sneak / Sneaky

If you dream of sneaking around, it may symbolize your nervousness about pursuing some path in your life. You may also believe that others don’t support you in something, and you feel like you have to be secretive about your values and goals. If you are being sneaky in your dream to avoid a certain person, this suggests that you are avoiding some aspect of your own self. Consider the character traits of the person you are avoiding – that will give you clues.

I’m gonna try to write at least one post a day. That’s my new goal.

On a different note, I want to go see Cloverfield with my best friend D (Best friends since 1st grade!). But my parents might not let me because I went to his house for a little while when we where supposed to be at the Y. When I told them they were pretty upset. In retrospect, I’m glad that I know now. Atleast I’ll know not to do that in the future. =] So lesson, learned.
